Brown & Mitchell, Inc. (BMI) was retained by the City of Biloxi to assist an appointed committee with the evaluation of various factors associated with the location of the proposed North-South Connector Road between U.S. Highway 90 and Interstate 10 in Biloxi, Mississippi.

While serving as a liaison between the Biloxi Citizen’s Corridor Committee; the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT); and representatives of the Federal Highway Administration, the Veterans Administration, Keesler Air Force Base, and the Biloxi School Board, BMI provided recommendations to Mayor A.J. Holloway, the Biloxi City Council, and MDOT as to the preferred location of the connector road, the general type of roadway to be constructed, and the aesthetics and compatibility of the road with the surrounding area.

The officials from MDOT and Mayor Holloway commended BMI for our professionalism and efficiency throughout this process.
