Brown & Mitchell, Inc. (BMI) was selected by the City of Gulfport to provide professional engineering services for the improvements to 30th Avenue from the intersection of 30th Avenue and 13th Street to the intersection of 30th Avenue and 28th Street.  This project was funded by Federal Aid Urban Funds.

Improvements to 30th Avenue began at the subbase level with excavation and grading; provided for proper drainage of the area; and continued with railroad track improvements and the placing of curbs, sidewalks, and replacement vegetation.  Throughout the improvements project, BMI coordinated with the Mississippi Department of Transportation to ensure that all utilities were adjusted as needed.

• Coordination with Local Utility Companies
